The modeling industry is plagued by allegations of mistreatment of girls, lack of diversity, and sexual harassment, amongst many other issues. I helped create a mobile solution where models can search for castings/gigs/ that they can feel comfortable partaking in.
Role & Responsbilities
As an iOS Developer, I had the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic project where I excelled in various key responsibilities: - Daily Communication with Design Team: I maintained regular and open communication with the Design Team to ensure that the iOS App strictly adhered to established guidelines. By collaborating closely and promptly addressing any issues that arose, I helped maintain a consistent and visually appealing user experience. - Firebase Integration: I played a crucial role in incorporating Firebase into the app, leveraging its powerful features such as Authentication, Functions, WidgetKit, VisionOS, and SwiftUI. This integration enhanced the app's functionality, security, and performance, providing users with an enriched experience. - TestFlight with Focus Groups: To ensure a seamless user experience, I conducted extensive TestFlight sessions with focus groups consisting of Fashion Models, Modeling Agencies, and Clients. By actively involving these groups, I identified and resolved any bug issues or usability concerns, improving the overall quality and usability of the app. - App Store Upload and Maintenance: I took charge of the app's upload and maintenance process on the App Store. This involved closely collaborating with Apple during the App Store Review process, ensuring compliance with their guidelines and addressing any queries or concerns directly. By actively engaging with Apple, I ensured a smooth and successful release of the app to the public. These experiences highlight my effective communication skills, technical expertise in Firebase integration, commitment to quality assurance through user testing, and knowledge of the App Store submission process.
